Respected Members,

I would like to extend my heartfelt thanks to all of you for keeping your trust and confidence in me as the Secretary of our club since the year 2020 . Being the Secretary of this club, my main task is to ensure smooth administration, accurate record-keeping, and to communicate clearly to support our initiatives for the growth of the club and to resolve all kinds of problems with patience and persistence. I promise to give my best with sincerity, honesty and loyalty.

During my tenure I realized that secretaryship is not about the title or the post - its all about the continuous services we deliver to our members throughout the years and create a strong bond with them.

After I took charge as the secretary, I have made a strategic roadmap outlining our goals and the actionable steps needed to achieve them. During this period we have utilized majority of our funds mainly in capital investment like fabrications works, civil jobs, purchase of fixed assets etc. to maximize the returns.

Launching of a website of our club was not thought of beofre me. I feel that in today's  tech-savvy world it is essential to have our own website so that people can view our multiple activities and profile instantly . It gives you 24/7 visibility and  builds instant credibility. It allows everybody to view our achievements and transcends all geographical boundaries.

We are also pleased to announce a remarkable success in fundraising for the purpose of  medical assistance to a member . We have organised a campaign to build public awareness in our locality to prevent the spread of Corona Virus through community outreach programs during the pandemic (during COVID 19) in 2020.

Few of our development works finished  during my tenure are furnished below:

1. Constructed  Permanent Shed (Tubler Truss) covering 2600 square feet of area above the lawn in the front side to reduce cost of decoration during any event and to protect the area from heat , rain etc. 

2. Concreted an area of 3500 square feet dirt floor of the lawn in the front side  to get rid of mire of mud during monsoon or after the heavy rain.

3. Installation of eight number of air conditioners at the top floor of our main building .

4. Installation of surveillance cameras (eight in numbers) covering most of the places of our main building   ( from roof to main gate )  to mitigate the security lapses and to keep close watch on all kind of nuisances or illicit activities which are not permissible inside club premises.

5. Constructed  the permanent shed (Tubler Truss) at the roof of our main building to protect the roof from wear and tear, rain , heat etc..

Few of our academic programs , charitable activities, social services in recent times are listed below :

1. Opened a coaching centre for Mathematics subject under the guidance of a professional teacher of high Calibre.

2. Opened a Music School under the guidance of a qualified professional teacher .

3. Launched an official website of the club as the first step towards digitalization and enable our members and viewers to access our activities 24/7.

4. Introduced  Life Membership facility with distinguished benefits.

5. A motivated team of our members had done a great job during the pandemic "COVID 19" by sanitizing the residences of the Corona affected patients in our locality and built social awareness about the disease among the people around us. A big salute to them for such voluntary service and social responsibility .

6. Arranged essential food stuffs for the indigent people in surrounding area during the Lockdown in 2020.

7. Raised substantial fund and donated the same to one of our members as medical assistance and planned to create a permanent contingency fund in future  to be used for this purpose only .

8. We have arranged meals for a real destitue, starving , moribund old lady till her last breath at free of cost who used to stay alone adjacent to our club and whose father happened to be an Ex- member of our club.

9.Organising Voluntary Blood Donation Camp on club's foundation day 12th June every year since 2022.

Apart from the above we celebrate all the events and programs which happens every year since ages .

We are also thankful to our Odissi Dance teacher Mrs. Adya Chowdhury who is running a dance school successfully over a decade under the name of " Arunodoy Cultural Academy ". She is being widely admired for her prodigious skill as a classical dancer. She is truly a preeminent leader of the cultural wing of our club.   

I also want to congratulate Mr. Dulal Das who was the President of our club for eighteen years and now became the Chief Advisor to the Executive Committee. His leadership has been truly inspiring. We extend our heartfelt thanks to him for laying a strong foundation for us to build upon. 

I am obliged to all my fellow executives for their unwavering support extended to me since 2020. I am fortunate enough to have such dedicated, Bonafide and responsible team of executives around me. Our executive team do not serve for recognition, but for purpose, for impact.

Last of all I sincerely look forward to have innovative ideas, sensible input and valuable feedback from all of you which may foster rapid growth and to make our club of great eminence.
